Using Lyrics of popular songs to practice language is a great way to engage students. Can't beat technology's power to engage and manage a classroom.

Lyrics Training is a website that uses music videos and lyrics to allow for users to practice their knowledge of a language. It is is fun for students and they won't even realize that they are learning. You can form teams in your classroom and have them choose a song with one of them typing while the team members help them fill in the words of the songs.  You can choose from beginner to advanced levels.  Spelling is vital since the song won't go on unless the exact word is typed in correctly.

There are many languages available. Among these Spanish and English.

I've used it as a reward for students for good classroom behavior. Students love it.  Let me know how it works for you.
